Hallo!
So my new classes are amazing. And small.Really small. But that's perfectly fine with me. My German class is going amazing, thankfully. Since its B2 we have to focus more on grammar. So half the class is grammar and the other is reading. She's also helping us perfect our pronunciation. A lot of German is based on sound, and a way to tell if your doing the crammed right is if it sounds right. But since we're not native German speakers, we can't always tell what sounds right.Which is why learning all the crammed is important. She also taught us how trennbar and nontrennbar sound different. I wish I learned this earlier! Would have helped avoid some mistakes and weird looks haha. I also have a few small updates. The first is I signed up for volunteering options.I should get the results next week when I hand it in. The second is hopefully I'll have internet next week. On Monday Zuzana is going with me to Saturn to figure out how to get a new laptop or my money back. She also doesn't believe they should have canceled the warranty without telling me why. I really am starting to hate going into Saturn. They're not very helpful people. I bought a Saturn SIM card for my phone, and no one there knew how to activate it. It's your brand, shouldn't you know that? Lastly, next Saturday ISA is taking us to Weimar for a day trip. So that should be fun. By Friday the 9th I should also have my visa information cleared up. Fingers crossed! Tschüss!
Sounds like things are starting to come together in the new year! Hard to believe that no one at Saturn knew how to activate the Sim card -- wouldn't that be a minimum requirement for working there? Looking forward to hearing about volunteering opportunities!
